Let it fade away, while you grow. That means get into lifting weights yesterday.

A buddy of mine told me this at 15, but I thought I'm too smart and too good for that "bonehead" stuff. At 30 you will not regret a single lost love; but you will regret not starting to lift at 15.

For me that age was 22. Trying to find ex-girlfriends on Twitter, Facebook messaging friends-of-friends with bullshit excuses to try and chat them up, what a fucking mess. And why would they want me anyway? I didn't want me.

If I had spent literally 1/10th of the time I spent crying over lost "loves" and telling the whole fucking boring story to new girls I got more through blind stumbling luck than any fraction of game, I would've been in tremendous shape even devoting that tiny sliver of time to working out.

I'm just happy I figured this out at 22 and not 42, or 62. Graveyards around the world are full of men who took their very last breath knowing less than I do now, and I'm grateful for the experience. Get yourself a kettlebell and a bench with some weights and improve you for you.

I don't think I fully understand what you guys are trying to tell me. Are you giving advice to me to exercise and improve my body image so I can be more successful with future romantic relationships?

They are saying the one-it-is easily fades away into distant memory when you grow older. At your age, they wished they loved themselves more by taking care of themselves through their diet, exercise, and just doing the shit they wanted to do, instead of chasing a fantasy of "love" created by capitalistic effeminating media or just plain bullshit females that is only keen on extorting money out of you at the cost of your own happiness. Know what makes you happy. And get there. That requires you to acknowledge reality. Reality is that females do not think like males. So deal with it. So if you want a partnership to sustain your gene pool through marriage or a union with females, learn the reality, and try to not sacrifice your own wellbeing and happiness at the cost of some stupid idea that isn't based on reality.

Oh, now that makes sense.

Son, when you grow up, and make money, you will find some women don't really care about how you feel or how good a person you are. They only care about themselves in fucked up ways that are unimaginable to men. So learn to be a man. Become one. Mean what you say, say what you will do.

True love is a state of being in complete harmony with reality. Not with your thoughts or your illusions or your attachments or aversions. But the reality of the situation. It can only be found within and it expresses clearly and harmoniously when you have aligned yourself with reality. It is only the love within towards yourself that you originally have, that you try to project towards someone else. Holding onto the projection of someone else causing love feelings is great, until the illusion breaks and the reality is shown to you. So love yourself. Become a man.

Now this is a great response. Thank you.

I think it's also worth noting that the idea of love you have, is not the way a women would love you anyway.

Tomassi VI - women are fundamentally incapable of loving a man in the way that a man expects to be loved by a woman.

No more.

[–]Yogarenren 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I meant love in the romantic sense.

[–]skyw4lk3r 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Love in the romantic sense isn't reality. It exists only in romance novels.
