I consider at least 3 out of every 10 Men to be Alpha with little to no effort. Or are my figures way off base?

You're off base... but not by much. The general consensus on TRP is that the Pareto principle (a/k/a the 80-20 rule or the law of the vital few) loosely governs the amount of men whom women view as Alpha. The rules states that, for many events (business, social, or otherwise), roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. And thus, about 20% of men will be viewed as Alpha.

Personally, I don't like the Pareto principle because I don't really see that pattern repeated across nature and across the universe.

Patterns that I do see across nature and the universe is the Fibonacci sequence and the golden ratio. These patterns actually do break down into percentages, and those percentages are: 0%, 23.6%, 38.2%, 50%, 61.8%, 76.4%, and 100%.

Thus, I think it's more accurate to say that 76.4% of women will view 23.6% of men as Alpha. The rest of the women view fewer men as Alpha. This is most likely related to a woman's own SMV--the higher SMV the woman holds, the higher SMV a man must hold to be viewed as Alpha in her eyes.

So, if we take that knowledge, it leads me to believe that women who rate a 7.64 and below* on a scale of 1-10 are most likely to view a man as Alpha if they rate him a 7.64 or above* on a scale of 1-10.

In conclusion (TL;DR): If you want to be viewed as Alpha by women, you need to ascertain where women are rating you. For example, if women are rating you a 6, then you should be shooting for 6s and below to assure they will constantly view you as Alpha. Of note, it's important to keep in mind that looks are not as important to women as they are to men--your social status, personality, financial situation, etc. all play into her rating of you, to a higher degree than it would for a man rating a woman.

As one of the Freakanomics books showed, the more money an escort makes, the less sex she has. From personal experience good bargirls are informally trained by older bargirls or the manager. Usually the best managers are women who where former bargirls or gays. They are told how to be charming, what to talk about, how to dress properly etc. The highest earning bargirls might not be the best looking, but they have the best personalities.

The figure of 3 out of 10 mem being alpha is way to high, unless you are in some specialized profession.
