I'm 42 years old and married for 20 years, I hang out on TRP not for sexual tips but consider myself an amateur sociologist and find TRP to be the Truest reflection of how the human animal actually behaves, not some idealized cultural notion of how we should behave.

But a word of note, its impossible to divorce the topic of sex from humanity because its the driving factor outside of food, and I think an argument can be made that certain animals will starve themselves to obtain reproductive opportunity.

One of the primary goals of the neo-feminist movement is to shift control of masculinity into the hands of women. As our culture continues to define masculinity as success with women, it gives more power to said women.

So, while TRP is primarily a sexual strategy, it is embedded in TRP that you cannot allow your self-worth to fluctuate with your sexual success.

It's right on the sidebar: "Discussion of sexual strategy in a culture increasingly lacking a positive identity for men." That identity cannot possibly be sexual success alone.

That was the first lesson I learned from TRP. There are a lot of young males that come to this site because they feel lacking in masculinity. They believe the reason for this is that they have not had the success with women that they want. In reality, they've allowed a flawed cultural movement to dominate their definitions of masculinity, self-esteem, and self-worth.
