I just wanted to tell everyone on this subreddit thank you for opening my eyes to the red pill reality. I would like to share a little insight in to my situation and how I got here. I am a 25 yo single male who goes to university. As a young man my father never told me shit about the real world and never reinforced my behaviors that were beneficial to my well being. I was constantly neglected and told that I was incapable of living up to my dreams. My father had the opinion that if I was unable to follow the straight and narrow, cookie cutter path, that I was a failure in his eyes. He came from a bottom of the barrel poor family, and is the breadwinner in that family. He has attained high financial wealth and catapulted himself into the Upper Middle Class of our society, yet still feels guilty and regretful of his life. He has passed those exact same traits on to me and I have felt guilt and pain for not living up to his wishes. In a way, he has tried to live through me and my experiences. When I failed, he failed, and was never able to look for the positive in anything. The truth is that he had no fucking clue of the Red Pill Philosophy. He made it to where he is today on pure work ethic and initiative. Something I lack, due to his pampering of me financially. I have been a failure my entire life up to this point, never being able to appreciate what I have and always take for granted the financial gifts and opportunities he has given me.

Unfortunately, his lack of understanding social dynamics and TRP put a strain on his marriage and our family. Because of this, he allowed my mother to run ship and become the dominant authoritative figure in the household. I gained pretty much all my insights on the world from her. My father gave me NONE of his insights on the world, perhaps due to the fact he didn't know much, coming from an immigrant household which was bottom of the barrel poor. He did tell me that he didn't have a strong connection with his father. His attitudes towards the world seemed very cold and bitter, and now that I am much older, I can start to sympathize with his perspective. He was not given the opportunities which have been offered to me today. ALL of his love and caring came in the form of financial support and stability because he was literally unable to express it in any other form. He was unable to communicate with his own family.

I have always looked for a connection with my family. I have desperately hoped and prayed he would change and I would be able to talk openly with him. I now realize this is impossible right now because I am not a real man. I have for so long BLAMED all my hardships and problems on others, stating that it was my father, my mother, my sister, my community, and my friends fault for not telling me how I was supposed to behave. I was not told how I was supposed to become successful. I became depressed because of this, and ditched my friends because I felt like they were trolling, and left my community because I thought they were evil. I have literally been sitting in a isolative state waiting for people to change, and waiting for them to take the initiative to be good. I have lived without friends and steady contact with other people for close to 4 years now. I've been through therapy, and counsellers who have all "tried" to analyze and figure out what was wrong with me, and why I felt so depressed and sad. My negative reality became reinforced by these people because they concluded that if I respected people and treated them nicely I should be completely fine. My family and I have paid thousands upon thousands of dollars to pay these so called mental health professionals in training me to adopt the blue pill philosophy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES, you heard that right. And I do believe it is unfortunate in today's mental health industry that so many of these professionals are not well schooled in Red Pill ethics (this is a topic for another thread, but I partly believe that this is due to the fact that so many women walk through psychiatrist's doors and they are unable to reveal to them the truth of TRP due to the fact that they are so stuck in blue pill methodology and to hear the truth would lose a lot of business for that health care professional). Anyway, I have suffered dearly at the hand of this blue pill injustice like so many of you have on this subreddit. But the implications do not have to be eternal...we can change the paradigm for us and future generations.

I have come to the conlusion, FINALLY, at the ripe old age of 25 that the onus is on me to change, and nobody else is going to do it for me no matter how wrong in their ways they are. From all of the bullshit I have been through, i still have the potential to come out a strong, reliable, confident, successful man in a financial, social, and economic sense. I have depression? I have substance abuse issues? porn issues? self esteem issues? Guess what, all of these things need to be changed by the individual and nobody but. The trick of the blue pill is that it teaches you if you become a "nice guy" and an "honest person" success and friendship will come your way. WRONG. You have to go out into the world and take whatever the fuck it is you want. You have to maintain a fluid and stable frame, and not let the crutches of the blue pill that you have come to know so well bring you back into that world.

I am a long way from achieving the higer echelons of TRP success, but I feel as though a victory has been won from finding this subreddit and opening my eyes to the realities of human nature. I am not going to lie either, it is fucking hard to finally realize it, and extremely difficult to accept because you feel like you have been wasting so many years of your life. That is the hardest part to realize. I'm sure it is a similar feeling to realizing there is no god after devoting your life to chrisitianity, going to church and donating 10% of your income every paycheck.

The first and most brutal step of TRP is realizing it is the best way to live. Because like so many of you on this subreddit have suggested in other threads, our society is saturated with White Knights of the Oval shaped Table. It is hard to accept at first but once you do, you will be a much better person for it.

Again, thank you TRP for existing in the first place, and I want to also say thank you to all the community members that keep this place open and supportive place to change into the red pill man we've always wanted to be.

For those of you who got through my long ass ramble, thank you as well.
