24M. Athletic build, 7/10 and an RP lurker, somewhat of an aspie.
I met this girl at a student club a couple weeks ago, I will call her Natalie. Her face isn't super attractive (bushy eyebrows, huge glasses) but she has a great body.
We didn't talk much but she seemed pretty interested in me. She left the club event early but came back later just to get my Instagram. I didn't message her or anything cause I figured we'd talk next time we meet. Her page is really inactive, last post in 2020. No selfies, <60 follows, all art.
Now this weekend I met up with Natalie and her two male friends (one is gay and the other was named after an alcoholic beverage. So no competition) and we went to a party. My social skills are a WIP but we had a good time dancing and took some pictures together.
Now this happens: a random chick at the party kept brushing up against me so left the circle to catch up with her and get her number. I didn't have any intention of texting her, I was just using it as an opportunity to practice my night game. Told her I thought she was cute and that I wanted her number. She asked if that was the only reason and I gave her a shit eating grin and said "does there need to be another reason?" I thought this was gonna be super creepy but she took my phone and motioned me to stand next to her shoulder to shoulder. Like wow, she got comfortable really quick.. Some of the guys she was with gave me some looks but they didn't say anything so I just smiled. She gave me her number and I left to rejoin the group.
Natalie started doing the hair thing and I noticed she was paying considerable more attention to me. More eye contact and smiles. I started checking her out a little and I liked what I saw. We went to a different club and she kept glancing back to look at me as we walked. All in all we had a good night but eventually alcohol boys freakishly tall sister joined with her friends and the fellowship lost cohesion. She took us to a shitty bar and we were practically stuck dancing at the entrance. Eventually I got both bored and tired so I gave Natalie a hug, went home and the following morning I messaged her asking if I missed anything after I left. She said no and that she left soon after. I said I had a good time and that her and her friends were pretty cool, which I meant genuinely. I wanted to talk to her a little more so I followed up with an opening question relating to our country that I had forgot to ask her that night.
But instead of replying she just left me on seen. WTF?! It was a bit of a turn off cause I really wanted to hear her answer. We're gonna see each other on Tuesday cause of the student club, but I won't be making a fuss over it. I had already decided to make a move and escalate next time we meet but I'm getting mixed messages so I don't know if it's a good call cause I could get in trouble with the club if she decides my advances are creepy.
