I've worked with a few speed-dating apps (iOS, Android) and traditional web apps in the browser.

Over 70% of females (regardless of anything else) target the top 10% males with certain minimum features (minimum 6ft tall, athletic build or not overweight, attractive facial features, high 5 figure or 6 figure salaries).

The top 10% of males rarely commit, there's no incentive to it. The females they target appear to want commitment, but it rarely happens and so this is like a revolving door hoping the next top 10% male will commit.

Well over 50% of these females describe on their profiles or via quiz/questionnaire that personality and good communication is what they value above all else. Their activity on these apps tells a much different story however. Again, it's like a revolving door trying to obtain commitment from the top 10% of males.

The biggest source of income on these dating apps is from the other 90% of males, but hardly any activity in terms of likes, swipes, messages with the females they attempt to engage with.

Let me know if you have any questions!
