I understand that according to your own personal morals he was in the right. Normally, I couldn't give a shit what anyone's moral obligations are. But now it's MY moral obligation to let you know that interjecting yourself into a situation, like the flower guy did, is wrong. If you don't know anything about the situation, and you don't even know any of the people in the situation, then you intervene trying to protect one of the other people then say you're operating on some higher virtue guidelines. It's a game you've created on the premise of being a "nice guy." If someone is being physically harmed, then yes, intervene and it's morally acceptable to everyone. But playing shadow games in relationships that aren't yours, I can't excuse.

That's cute. It doesn't matter whether I'm trying to be a nice guy or a white knight, the reason I'd do or approve of something like this is because I, personally, do not like cheaters.

You said you do not condone cheating, yet why do you defend the guy when he's breaking one of the biggest violations in a relationship that a woman can do which /r/TheRedPill despises?

Yes, I understand that the flower guy was unprofessional. But, he acted on his own morals because it was the right thing to do.

Now, he (the customer) made the conscious decision to marry someone. He gave his word to someone that he'd be monogamous, yet he's broke his own word and commitment to his wife.

If this was a plate, by all means, he can do whatever he wants since he's not committed to anyone. But, in his case, he married his SO and gave her exclusivity. But, he is weak because he broke his word. He has a weak character.

From my understanding, the purpose of the red pill is to be aware of the truths of how society and the world works in order to strive to be the best version of one's self.

I'd rather be branded a white knight than someone who views themselves as an "Alpha male" who has a weak character. Now I'm done, your character is weak, homeboy.

It seems you were serious, so I'll entertain this just a little. And it's a slow day at work, so thank you for this conversation. I'm serious about that.

1.) I shouldn't have to point out the fact that this guy having a wife and a mistress is incomparable to Snowden uncovering mass surveillance. It's funny how belittling this situation is to the NSA situation.

2.) If you hate the NSA spying on people and reading their emails and listening to their phone calls and all the nefarious shit you think they do with your private information, how could you possibly be OK with the flower guy releasing this random guy's secret? How could that be considered any different than the NSA taking our private information and doing whatever they want with it?

It's a romantic notion to think you're playing the good guy by helping someone, and harming the bad guy, but if you really think about it you're no better because you didn't have the right to play in their lives to begin with.

I'm in the same boat, and I'm only doing this because I've got nothing better to do right now. Anyways...

There's no dispute in that. But, it's more of the principle of the situation. Personal ethics vs business ethics? In both cases, personal ethics won.

How could that be considered any different than the NSA taking our private information and doing whatever they want with it?

The difference is how the they obtained the undesirable information.

The NSA gathered the information without the knowledge/consent of the public while the flower guy was given this information by the customer, willingly.

In Snowden's case, he snooped around by tricking someone to gain access (if I recall that correctly) to the classified information. This, I would agree, is unethical. He shouldn't be punished for uncovering mass surveillance, but he should be punished for snooping around where he shouldn't have been.

In the flower guy's case, he should be punished for being unprofessional. Either he gets fired, sued, or gets his ass kicked. I'm not going to defend him for that because he has to own up to his actions and take what ever is coming towards his way.

Now, if the flower guy was snooping around to find out who's cheating and changing the cards, intentionally, then I wouldn't be defending him at all because he's being an asshole dressed as a white knight who intentionally ruins shit for other people. He shouldn't be snooping around like that.

That's the difference, bro.
