I always think the first date should be drinks somewhere relaxed and each should buy a round.

I'll normally arrive first and make sure there's a drink waiting by the time she arrives so the first round is covered.

The second round is on her or there is no second date.

I've got no problems with paying for everything on a date but for a first meeting it should be split 50/50. You're both investing time to see if the other person is worth your interest. From there it's game on.

I don’t do this often, but it does top off the AWALT tank, then I’m set for a while. It’s the little things that remind me why I chose the monk life.

No. Or, should I say, not anymore. We know who we're dealing with now. Young men today are quite "lucky", sort of, to be able to educate themselves about the arsh reality regarding the better-and-empathic gender. We, old-timers, especially when raised by single mothers (or nonnas), without any male representation, have had to learn the hard way with a trial and error method (and it abundantly sucked tbh).

First round is on her if I'm paying? At least this one has some kind of a sense of humor. Somehow, in a middle of an army of entitled thots with nasty attitudes and severe symptoms of alcoholism, it's a little refreshing.

Still a big "Go f@ck yourself" though.

I’ve had issues with this as a woman. I’ve tried to buy a round for us and they refused and got somewhat offended as a result.
