There was a cool unit that had made it through a lot of shitty management issues and had a lot of buddy cohesion that got taken down by this shit. Someone's girl insisted on having her wedding in the sky, so they made up a training flight and took up taxpayer funded boeings burning something like $14,000 an hour for a photo op. Of course, they were told to keep it quiet, but they posted it everywhere. Witihin a week the governor had found out about it. Then the hatchet men came in and fired a ton of people that were in the unit, axing their retirements after 18 years in the service because they didn't tattle on it and wanted to stay far away from the nuclear radiation of controversy.

A really cool place was utterly ruined and gutted by one dumbass "oh yeah, airforce means the sky is mine" dummy and his current hole. So much damage done for such a dumb, selfish reason, and there were so many guys that should've had some spine and told the temper tantrum factory of a bride that they wouldn't give her her way.
