This is what I HATE about the concept of “What I won’t settle for...” or anything similar:

It’s always used to justify unrealistic standards of a partner in a dating market saturated with women who hold them even if they themselves aren’t worth those standards. So naturally, because this woman lucked out in a 1-in-a-million chance to be proposed to on national TV and become a minor celebrity (in a marriage that’s likely to not work), it’s given hope to everyone out there who thinks they just need to “hold onto hope” and “never settle for less than what you deserve.”

Shoot, if you’ve seen the video of her being proposed to, there’s something not genuine about her reaction to being proposed to. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it’s there.
