Karen it seems there were red flags in the relationship that you were smart enough to recognize at the time. Those things that bug you before marriage - only magnify after marriage. If you did not have utter peace with the relationship, you did the right thing by moving on. Stop torturing yourself...Chin up girl....life awaits you! Seize the day and forget about this long lost love who probably wasn't the best many for you after all.

This person is an evil human being. She (most likely) is doing this purposely to adhere to the Feminist dogma. These comments infect little girls and make them think that following the author is a good thing. Despite the fact that the entire article spits in the face of that very idea.

Whether she could "do better" or not, let's address the premise behind this saying.

Women are human beings and men are human doings. Therefore, women feel they deserve the world just for existing. They feel justified in having impossible standards. And when she doesn't get her way, she feels justified to scream and yell, whine and complain and make everyone's life miserable like the sour grapes that she is.

Men OTOH are human doings. We have to earn our keep. We have to warm her home if we want her to piss in our direction.

I've seen this article and Karen looked really good for 42. This was 6 years ago. But with her looks, she could have easily gotten herself a good bf on POF.... She just wouldn't be having kids since that ship has sailed for her.

Now at 48, maybe her looks are no longer there so I don't know what her options are like now.

The longer that these women hold out for Chad, the worse it gets for them. It's important for me to point out that most women instinctively know when to cash in their chips. Most women her age are married or have a boyfriend. But for whatever reason there is a growing minority of women her age who refuse to settle no matter what. To their own detriment. My boyfriend and I have sex every other day, multiple times per day. Without a condom. Semen has mental health benefits for women. And the dopamine, oxytocin, etc. effect from unprotected sex and cuddling with your boyfriend has health benefits. You're going to throw that all away to have sterile condom sex with Chads or risky unprotected sex with Chad and get STIs? Or worse, find yourself not having sex at all as a woman because you refuse to do the hookup culture thing but you also refuse to settle.
