So for context, I've never had a real boyfriend. I went on a few dates in high-school (I'm 21 now) but nothing more than that. I felt weird texting my parents and asking advice about this, so I decided to see if there was a subreddit for this sort of thing and there was. Also, this is obviously a throwaway.
Anyway, I've been talking to this guy I met a few moths back for a while (he said he thought I was hot and asked for my number :) and he finally asked me on a date, which I've been waiting for him to do for a while. We're going out to eat tomorrow, and I'm super nervous! I'm afraid I'll mess up somehow since it's probably expected I've had a boyfriend or two by this point.
So do you guys have any advice? I know the basics that my parents taught me in high-school: let him pay, let him take control of the conversation, don't dress too revealing, be as petite as possible, all the standard stuff. But are there any other things I need to know? Anything else that would be considered in bad taste? I don't want to come across as rude or out of place or anything.
Thanks in advance for any advice fellow ladies! :)
Edit: Sorry y'all, didn't see your posts until now, and since I can't reply I'll just make this edit. The date went really well! We had a great time and he complimented me on my looks a lot (but not in a rude way). He invited me to the bar next weekend so I'm super excited! Thanks to you ladies who took time to comment :)
