Yes, yes it is. More than that - it's worse than you think. I've only known a handful of truly respectful men. Now - I think that the loudest men are going to be the ones you remember, just like the bad dreams are the ones you remember. I've probably had countless interactions with "good" men that I can't remember because the ones where they call me names or act like I'm crazy stand out so much more.

Go and read r/femaledatingstrategy and you will see what we mean. The bar is so low that it's underwater by now. Probably in the Mariana trench.

The bar is in hell.

Just imagine that men get thrown a fucking parade if they happen to change diapers, or wake up to feed their newborn child, OCCASIONALLY.

The bar is so low, that as you mentioned, men doing even the bare minimum are seen as gold, which is... not good, because it's the bare minimum. That's like gushing and throwing gold stars at a 10yo for going to the bathroom by himself, just because the other 10yos around him wanna keep using diapers.

edit: used to be that girl. eventually the guy (who became my boyfriend of 2 years) lowered his efforts bc i seemed so pleased with the minimum. He stopped trying to impress me and when that sufficed, he stopped being a decent person.

Long story short, he turned into an asshole who made me walk to the resturant bc he didn’t want to pick me up. and at the end when i ended it (much to his surprise), he told me it was my fault for not expecting more of him. Then he became super depressed and has never been the same apparently.

Moral of the lesson: Do not match your efforts to the bar.

Well first of all you are judging a woman so YOU are LOW VALUE. Obviously her bar is low to be dating you.
