I snore. My wife can't sleep because of it and often moves to the couch in the middle of the night. From my side, I have already tried a few things, like snore inhibiting tools to get rid of the snoring. My wife doesn't want to wear earplugs because then she can't hear our toddler.
A few weeks ago I made it clear that I sleep in bed and won't sleep on the couch. Since then, there have been no more discussions on the subject. My wife now switches to the couch in the middle of the night when she can no longer sleep. However, my wife is not sleeping properly and has back pain.
My question is how should I proceed here ? Put my own needs for sleep in the foreground and continue to sleep in the master bedroom ? Or shall we separate bedrooms ? Does anyone have experience with separate bedrooms ?
