Hi Men,

If you're uninterested in the mewling of a young, unmarried man, I bolded the actual question below.

I'm 23 years old and living a really, really good life right now. I was raised in a two-parent home, my financial situation is sound, my income is excellent, I'm heavily invested in interesting hobbies (and working to build a strong community around a niche hobby), I'm charismatic, I think I look pretty darn good without a shirt on, I dress well.

I am also a devout Christian. For those of you who read/have read Dalrock, I would consider my beliefs to align perfectly with his. Marriage is my end-game. I'm not interested in hooking up with as many women as possible before then (although I still respect men who have tight game and were able to do that). I understand what my negotiables and non-negotiables are. I understand that married life isn't all sunshine and roses. I understand that women aren't actually all that. TRP/MRP have both done so much to deprogram a lot of the things I soaked up through social media which wasn't being countered through my parents/church. You have all also taught me how to be more attractive. Thank you guys, really.

However, I still have a question. MRP teaches you how to right a ship that's headed for an iceberg and how to fix up the ship to make it more comfortable. TRP teaches you how to coax the salesman into letting you test-drive multiple ships without making a purchase until you're "sure" or ready for "hard-mode".

However, there isn't a lot of advice on choosing the right ship. I know how to inspect the engine and inner-workings of the ship (don't wife a feminist, ect.) but... No one speaks to what quality the hull actually needs to be.

To drop the ship metaphor: How attractive should a woman be if all other things align?

The reason why I ask: There is exactly 1 girl in my circle whose beliefs/values align with mine. I (inadvertently) whittled away 25 precious minutes of my life going through her photos on facebook attempting to negotiate my attraction for her ("Is it her hair? Does she just need a little makeup? Better clothes? Maybe she just isn't photogenic? Or is she down-right plain?").

I understand that the ship I'm looking for probably won't come in a dolled-up hull, so I try to be objective. I've also seen MRP members hint that attractiveness doesn't actually matter all that much, which is what makes me ask this question.

NOTE: I'm currently working on expanding my social circle (and making myself more attractive) in hopes of just finding a better ship and being able to purchase it. But I'm very interested in the answer to this question.
