Hey fellas, my wife gave birth 2 months ago and since our relationship has taken a tumble. We fail to bond over anything, we both get incredibly frustrated over simple things and seem to take it out on each other. We have no intimacy and struggle to spark any sort of flame. On top of this, she claims she has pain any time we attempt to have sex. This is obviously quite possible postpartum but any attempt I have to get her into a physical therapist or talking to her midwife is usually struck down.

I'm not really sure where to go from here and I am getting more and more frustrated by the day. I try to excuse all of this as having a newborn, constant flux of hormones from breastfeeding, and healing pains. Looking any of this up you are met with bullshit from msm pages about how its natural to not have sex much anymore after having a baby, or how it never feels the same. Seems like bullshit to me and is a lifestyle I am not willing to commit to.

Before pregnancy & birth, we had sex usually 4-5 times a week. Always engaged and enjoyable. Wife would get dressed in things she knew I liked, etc.

For anyone who has just had a newborn or has any experience with this & rp lifestyle. Can you send me any advice?
