Hi all, I am curious about your opinions and experiences with reverse psychology when dealing with the woman. As per most posters, the effort to get wife to change, or do anything is limited when addressed verbally, and as we all know leading / acta non verba is a better approach.
I have a reasonable amount of success with reverse psychology, its a well understood pehnomenon, I am curious as to if this is common with your dealings and how it fits with MRP concepts. For me It really is as basic as it sounds, but as a generic example, If i say "I've planned for us to go out for dinner" I can get a wall of resistance for no good reason other than it was my idea (sometimes, not every time).
In contrast, If I say, "hey babe, I know your tired, why don't you go off to bed ahead of me." It often results in her staying up
I appreciate I should not be trying to manipulate or seek change her behaviour, but still curious as to if this is common, perhaps it is linked to other strategies more often discussed
