Things have been crazy busy lately. This past week it's gone alot like this- Get home from work, tidy the house (make the bed, load the dishwasher, etc.) Wrestle with my two boys, make dinner (if wife doesn't beat me to it), read to the kids before bed etc. Yesterday was no different.

My first officer works part time so a few nights she gets home after me. Most weekdays, it's almost like we just greet in passing. She is pregnant and and has first trimester tiredness so her mood is always just blah.

I'll make attempts to be fun or affectionate and get brushed off or lose to her phone.

I started meeting cold and distant with cold and distant in return. Last night before bed, she apologized for the lack of quality time and hit me with "do you still love me?" I reply, "yes ofcourse, kiss on the forehead followed by "only when you're not a brat" then came hints that I don't post about her enough on social media and nobody even knows what she looks like blah blah blah.

These moments happen about once or twice a month. Am I missing something? I mostly responded with intrigued gestures and no words.
