Hello,

I have been wandering how you guys would respond to something that I often have to respond to myself.

Just so you can picture the situation better I will give details about myself. I am a white, 6 feet tall, 19 year old and I'm good looking. I naturally make fun of people all the time and I must pull it off well because it hasn't done anything that hasn't benefitted me, people like me. I'm not a chatterbox because I don't like saying pointless shit. My voice is a bass. If I feel like it i can sound like Thurl Ravenscroft when he sings "You're a mean one Mr. Grinch," but my normal speaking voice is normal, just deep. Everything you think could be "scary" about me doesn't exist. I don't look scary, say scary things, or sound scary.

Just so it's known the age group of everyone I'm talking about below is 19-mid twenties.

I am a black belt in TKD and I can tell my friends are always connecting that to me because whenever we are around a lot of people they will tell someone I just met, "he's a blackbelt you know" and every single time if the person is a woman they will say "that's scary." Every. Single. Time. They all say that in the same exact way with a tone that implies that I am supposed to give a fuck, with a straight face. If the woman is ugly I just say whatever I feel like. Pretty much all the time I am just saying what I feel like, but when I want to fuck the chick I feel like saying the right thing. When they are attractive I say something like "yea it's so scary because I always walk around hitting people all the time." And I go on for a little bit from there exaggerating so they can see how what they say doesn't make sense. A lot of the time I'm drunk so it varies. I say it in the same tone as the one you would hear in your head if you were thinking, "how the fuck does the practice of martial arts make you scary, this bitch is dumb." And also "I know this bitch doesn't actually think I'm scary, so what is she trying to get out of saying that." Then they smile or whatever.

I haven't read or practiced anything on game, so my response could very well be stupid, but it works. The most recent time where this happened the girl was saying "I don't have a boyfriend. Like not at all. Like I have no sort of thing." Which I take as begging pretty much. And in my head I'm thinking what happened to me being so scary.

I'm curious as to what you all think is the reason they say "that's scary." Is it some sort of test? And is there a better way to respond than what I say?
