I apologize in advance for any spelling or grammar errors, since English is not my native language. I will try to illustrate my issues as clearly as possible.

I am a 26 y/o guy of Pakistani background living in a western country. About three months ago I met a Pakistani girl that I really liked. She was modern, cute and looked serious. We got in a relationship fast! However I got to know more and more about her personality and her behaviour towards me and here is what I found:

Seriousness: she is really serious and always analyses things in the smallest details.

Know-how: she is a 5 years older and she has her own house, car and steady job. I sometimes get the feeling that she does not sees me as equal and has the right to correct me on minor things, like language errors or misused words. I wouldn’t mind it if she would do it tactfully, but not even that.

Bit of a lack of humour: whenever I make a sarcastic joke or whatever, she hardly ever laughs and she often argues about me because she thinks I am serious so that I have to explain the full joke and it kind of ruins the moment.

Wants to change me: she is often telling me how she would like it if I would do so and so and when I refuse she often argues.

Abusive past: she has had an abusive ex boyfriend and has problems displaying her emotions. She has problems with trust and she is very cautious with showing any emotional range towards me.

She also has some good traits like being loyal, intelligent and welspoken. She knows I am a broke ass guy and she stills wants to stay with me.

Last monday we had a huge fight on the telephone and I told her exactly what I thought about her. She baffled and quiet for a while. After that she hang up the phone and didn’t contact me until yesterday.

What do I make if all of this?
