So I met this woman while on the job. I fix phones, and she was one of my clients. After the repair I ask for her number so we can meet. She seemed a bit conflicted at first and noted it was kind of awkward for her. Sensing her being uncomfortable, I told her to have a nice day and got ready to leave. As I hopped in the truck, she stopped me and told me to wait. Few minutes later, she comes out with her business card and tells me that, "she's recently divorced".

Splashhh, or at least I thought..

Cut to the text:

**Me: Hey [name], it's phone repair guy.

Her: Hi.. [my name]?

Me: That's me. So you said you were going through a transition period?

Her: Yes, and it's exhausting 😭

Me: Sounds like you're ready to celebrate. I've got some bud and some fun, if you're down?

Her: 😊 I'm currently on my walk, but we can meet after.

Her: What kind of fun do you have in mind? πŸ‘€

Me: You already know what kind of fun, wit yo fine ass πŸ˜‰

Her: Uhh no, I'm not into that type of fun.

Me: Fair enough ** ✌🏽

So, im thinking maybe I went in for the kill a bit too early and scared her off? I was under the assumption that since she's going through a divorce, she's ready to play. Maybe if I kept it low key and then brought it up while chillin', she would have been more receptive? But with that course of action, I'm essentially lying, and the chance of me wasting my time trying to proposition a lay that's not interested is high.

Any advice Chads?
