Hey guys, long post, sorry.

I've been lurking for a few weeks, and wanted to get some opinions/advice concerning a recent ex.

Background: I started fucking the hot girl at work, and it became a relationship. She was in a relationship at the time (big red flag I know, just didn't see it then). It became a relationship pretty quickly, she moved in with me, and we were doing (I felt) pretty well. We both got fired, and I got another job in 2-3 months. The job market here blows. She took a little longer, since unlike me she doesn't have a degree (pretty fair age difference between us), but ended up at one job or another, never lasting more than a few weeks, until I finally got her hired at a local bar/grill. We seem to be doing pretty well up to this point.

She started sexting a bartender a month or so after she started working there. I found out after it had been going on for three weeks or so, and SHTF. Since they hadn't fucked (verified by reading the sexts, it was all "I wanted you but didn't act on it, here's what I would have done" type stuff), I decided, like a beta, to work things out with her.

Fast forward to a few weeks later, now a year and a half into the relationship (beginning of November 2015). She gets drunk and shitty and runs off to her parents house. The next day, when I come home from work, her shit's gone. I talk to her a bit, and three days after she leaves we decide to stay together. She's living with her parents. We make things work for a month, she tells her parents that she's seeing me, they kick her out (because up to this point she's been talking all kinds of shit about me), lo and behold, she moves back in.

Fast forward again to early June (now about two years into the relationship). She says that the day she moved her shit out (the day after she left), she went to that bartenders house, got drunk, and sucked his dick. Trickle truth continues for a week, then she finally admits that she also fucked him that night (Tuesday) and after that fucked a guy she worked with there twice (the following Monday and Tuesday). Says that she couldn't keep living with herself, she knows it'll break us up but she can't handle the lying.

Again, like a beta, I tried to talk through it. What can I say, I love her. A few weeks of this, and she gets on the fence as to whether she should stay or go, whether she loves me, etc etc. Eventually gets super drunk and violent, I go outside because I'm 100% sure the cops have been called, and they call her dad to come pick her up. I make it clear at this point that we're broken up and don't want to deal with any more of her bullshit. Since then I've been getting a combination of "I love you, please talk to me/see me" and "we were in a toxic relationship, we shouldn't see each other."

Current situation: I'm still very much caught up emotionally with her, and while I've tried to apply GFTOW, I can't seem to follow through because for some fucking reason I still love her. I simply can't seem to get past how I feel about her, and it makes it so that I can't want other women. Any advice on getting past this would be greatly appreciated. She's easily a 9/10, and while we've fucked once since the last incident, I'm not sure how to plate her or how to pursue anything.

Before I get a ton of "go lift", I've started doing that too, and while I'm getting in better shape it doesn't seem to be helping the situation in any other way.

Background on her: She's bipolar (diagnosed) and hasn't been on meds at all during any of this. She's just now realizing that she needs medication, and is seeing a shrink at the beginning of next month to do so. That explains the sexual acting out to me.

End of the story: I would love to do one of two things: get her back (beta move, but I can't control how I feel), once she gets on meds and stabilizes herself. Option 2: figure out a way to quit loving her so I can want to GFTOW. Any advice on accomplishing either is much appreciated.

tl;dr: be a more cognitively developed man and take time to read and understand the situation before offering advice. tl;dr infuriates me as a concept, real men enjoy reading.
