I finished the 30 days of discipline some weeks ago and I highly recommend at least trying it. A large pillar of TRP is becoming the best man you can be, i.e. lifting, dressing well, and taking care of your overall appearance. In the process of doing these three things I have encountered adverse comments from my peers in attempts to shame me. Here are some of my favorites:

  • are you gay?
  • why do you care so much about your appearance?
  • do you really think that lifting will make girls want you?
  • are you doing all this to get girls? You're so desperate and thirsty!
  • you dress like an old man, you just look stupid!
  • stop trying so hard, you care so much about what people think.

Ironically enough, the comments about clothes come from poorly dressed individuals and the comments about lifting come from scrawny kids who have never been to the gym.

Has anyone else experienced adverse comments from peers on their journey to self improvement? I also find that typically these comments come from betas while the alphas are usually the ones to give compliments.
