My gf often misbehaves and causes useless arguments. Throught TRP I have learned to respond to these well by removing attention, remaining stoic, agreeing and amplifying and so on. As an emotional creature a few hours after the argument she always comes back to me, tries to initiate sex, hugs, kisses and so on. Basically her way to say sorry for the stupid fight. This is generally the pattern we follow. Yes probably not LTR material but thats a topic for another day.

In the past, I would forgive her immediately when she came back for kisses and hugs and so on. Basically I was fully in her frame. I would talk, rationalise and so on. Now I apply dread and ensure she is in my frame and not viceversa. Trp has been the best thing in my life.

I am struggling to know when to stop however. How long should I punish her for?

A practical example: 2 days ago she made a pointless argument and ruined the evening. I kept my frame and enjoyed the night with my friends. I made jokes at her attitude and was stoic. She went to bed early and I was enjoying myself with my friends and laughing. When I went to bedroom to grab something she asked me to talk, I laughed and left. When I finally go to bed she tries to talk to me about the incident but I refuse (was a crazy argument believe me) and just tell her I want to sleep. An hour later she is trying to hug me, kiss me and so on. I refuse everything and say Im tired.

Day after I treat her like absolute shit. We were travelling and she did many shit tests. “Can you get my luggage”. “No, you have hands”. “Do you want to hear about XXX?” “No not interesting”. She spends the whole day taking my shit and still making an effort to win me back. Offering to cook, do chores, being generally super submissive. At night she wears sexy lingerie for me. I also act not interested.

But after a bit Im like ok I dragged this long enough. And I go back to being normal.

My question is when do we stop applying dread when a girl fucks up?
