It all boils down to the same principle: she either wants (subconsciously) to cuck her current lover or the previous one.

Let me explain. If the current lover is better then her past lovers, she will get off on the idea of showing off her current lover to the previous one. She hates him because he is lower value. You could call this reverse-cucking.

If the current lover is worse then her past lovers, she will get off on the idea of cucking him by showing off how she once fucked this other better dude. She hates her current lover because he is not as good and she can't change him in anyway to become that good. Attraction cannot be negotiated.

Not sure I buy the idea that alpha widowhood is always a permanent state. Sure a woman can be devastated by the guy leaving her but if she's attractive there'll be other guys in time she'll fall for.

Anyway, I can imagine the second scenario occurring in the following circumstances: she was essentially a FWB and never really had the guy's affection but she had an 'oops' pregnancy and the guy decided to do the 'decent' thing and stand by her.

She gets very bitter and hateful as she knows guy is not really into her. It ends.

She for some reason lacks the femininity charm to attract an equivalent man to take her mind off things and, realising the best she could get didn't really want her starts hating him.

I don't buy that attractive women remain alpha widows for long. There's always another guy. It's a temporary state for them.
