I’ve posted some these suggestions before but here are some great audiobooks (with terrific narrating, which is key for audiobooks). I’ve “read” these numerous times over last 3-4 years.

-Chaos Monkeys by Antonio Garcia Martinez: Most enjoyable nonfiction book I’ve ever read (and learned a ton living through experiences) on tech/startup entrepreneur scene from former FB insider. Seriously reads like entertaining fiction and is addictive. Also, it’s a VERY relevant dive into what is happening in our society, from digital and capitalism perspective. (Can’t believe Facebook didn’t sue him)

-Mastery: A book everyone should read as RP/business/psychology/motivating

-The Hard Things About Hard Things by Ben Horowitz: About Management/leadership (best book I’ve read on this topic). It’s not feel good self improvement and corporate platitudes. It’s real in the trenches “when shit hits the fan” real world/experiences content.

-The Charisma Myth by Olivia Fox Cabane: This book is about honing the skill of Charisma. If you take it seriously, and practice what you learn, you’ll make huge strides in interactions with people in any setting. I made myself go out to eat alone once a week for 6 months and practice method acting as if I was a different person (an out of town successful businessman) and would play that part down to how I dressed and tell wait staff “here on business, this is my first time here” etc.

-Best Biographies: Steve Jobs, Elon Musk

I'm listening to Principles by Ray Dalio right now. I would recommend this book 100%.

Here are a few I've read or listened to that have helped me. I recommend these to any asking.

The subtle art of not giving a fuck by Mark Manson

How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie.

Think and grow rich by Napoleon Hill

The 4 hour work week by Timothy Farriss

And of course some investing books like

Coffee house investor by Bill Schultheis

Intelligent investor by John Bogle

Anything Warren buffet and John Bogle

The book on rental property investing by Brandon Turner

Audiobooks are the best form of learning for me. I can OYS and learn simultaneously. Lift and learn from Rollo. Drive and stop being nice with Dr. Glover. Cut the grass and take in the 48 laws of power. Meal prep and learn how to say "No" with Dr. M. J. Smith.

Listen to them again at 2.3X speed a month later, and OYS again. Remember what you had forgotten. You can even start off with the YouTube version of the Book of Pook for free.

Alpha Male Confidence: The Psychology of Attraction

I highly recommend that audiobook. It's short and red pill. It helped me get laid when I was a beta bitch.

I just downloaded Audible. I love it as I listen to it when I'm driving which is ~1-1.5 hours a day. Feels good being productive in traffic and not feeling like I'm wasting my time.

I think maybe I started off with the wrong book. I'm listening to "The Ultra-Mind Solution" which is a book that informs you on how bad foods, toxins, and nutrition deficiencies can affect our moods, health, and brain function. This book has a ton of new terms regarding vitamins, organs, etc that I'm not familiar with and I can't pause and look them up because I'm driving. Also, reading these terms instead of listening to them would help me remember them much more, although I'm still learning a ton by just listening to this book. It talks about how much damage sugar and other bad foods do to our brains.

I think that books that have story like "The Game" would work much smoother as all you need to do is listen and understand what's happening vs. informational books like "The Ultra-Mind Solution" should be read on a hard copy as you'll probably want to highlight stuff or write a lot of things down.

Also, this book takes about 6 hours to listen to. I realized that if I go and visit family (which is ~3.5 hours away) I can pretty much listen to a whole book on the trip there and back. That's pretty crazy and it seems like such a great use of your time.

Someone a few days ago suggested 'How to win friends and influence people' so I got that on audible. Will be listening to one chapter a day. 👍

Audiobooks are fantastic. It's great to fill up downtime during your daily commute or running errands like doing laundry. I've been reading I can't make this up by Kevin Hart. Hilarious and sound advice.

I really enjoyed listening to Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead, it's fiction but still has some developmental aspects to it that stay with you. I also like listening to Will Durant's stuff on Youtube concerning philosophy and ancient Greek and Roman scholars.

Iron John is really good audiobook. For its age, the audio has a down by the river or campfire conversation tone

Check out The Great Courses, they were meant to be listened to as lectures and are easier to follow than books read aloud. Available for an Audible credit if that's what you're going for.

In particular I thought the Civil War one was excellent.
