I was out earlier, at the neighbourhood bar, sipping a glass of wine, chatting up whomever was on either side of me. High-energy bloke comes in, tells a girl that "I think you'll be the next notch on my bedpost" and took her home. I would try this, but I'm not sure I can take the invariable smacks and loss of face that will ensue. Any suggestions?
