You need to know when to be bold / forward and when to be more passive and indirect.

If you're never going to see the girl again (tourist areas, traveling, nightclubs): bold, forward, if she throws a drink in your face it's ok cause you'll never see anyone in the room again.

But if you will probably see the girl again (your local gym, your hometown, your social circle): definitely tone it down. You get labeled a "creep" or a rumors start about you sexually assaulting then your reputation is going to suffer.
