Not exactly boss(let's call him Ned), he's the president of my town political party.

Ned and I are actually really good friends, he's 36 and I'm 22 (my gf is 21).

Whenever I'm with girlfriend and I run into Ned he blatantly ignores me and greets my girlfriend first, calls her by her name and does gesture like holding her hand and greets her with a kiss on a cheek (he never does this with other people).

Before I was really looking up on him, I liked his company and I thought I could learn alot but this disrespect (by ignoring my hand to make a joke out of me to greet my gf first makes me lose respect for him and want to distance from him).

This has happened three or four times in the last two months.

Last time it happened today. There were 5 of us and we were just about to split up, Ned asks me if I'm free for the weekend for drinks I answered that I'm not sure yet, he then asks my gf if she's in town so they could go for a drink and after my girlfriend replied with a direct "No". Immediately after Ned says that he's only kidding and joking. What the actual fuck.

How should I handle this situation?
