Some of the best looking friends I have are complete betas. A lot of them are so used to being able to pick up girls just with their looks that they have no idea how to actually talk to them or maintain a relationship or even a fuckbuddy.

If you look good you will be treated good when people first meet you. Some people are not born looking good and strong so you are treated as lesser. Quite often good looking guys do well when they're put into situations with girls who are simply bowled over by their looks but it's often shortlived. When I was a "lesser" I got enough female attention without doing anything but it often shifted to being the cute friend instead of sex over time. Some girls that knew me didn't want sex but girls that didn't know me were usually interested.

Build up an attractive superficiality to ensure good first impressions but also build it up through you completely so you don't drop off after the first meetings.

Being beta/alpha is about personality and self-image. If you see a guy who appears to be alpha, due to size/height/looks, whatever, it may be the other way around. Look below just appearance, that's what women do.

I have friends who are good looking and actually do fuck a good amount of girls, and still have a total beta mentality and once they're in relationships they get completely screwed head over heels.

This used to be me. Actually back in high school I used to think there was something wrong with the girls in my home town. I didn't understand why I didn't get on with them the way I seemed to with girls from other towns. Looking back now I suppose it's because despite my good-looks and athleticism, my personality just destroyed my attractiveness to very attractive girls. Girls from other places hadn't seen this side of me yet.
