Foreign student, English isn't too good, is shy and usually silent. Comes across like the lame type that doesn't have any friends.

Got to know her casually a bit over just interacting in class a couple times a week but really don't know her that well at all yet. I ask for her number and she's very receptive. Kind of flirty and invested over text too. I ask her to hang out on Friday and she says "Okie what do you want to do". I tell her we'll get drinks and she replies "Can we just have a lunch together? I dont really like drinking that much".

If she were an American girl I would take that as LJBF, as even non-party girls drink occasionally, but given that's she's from another country and kind of comes across like a loner, but otherwise seems interested, she might be telling the truth.

I could ghost, decline and not counter offer, push for drinks anyway, decline but say coffee/icecream works, or accept (not going to do that, I dont intend to ever go a lunch date).
