TLDR- codependent ltr is beginning to piss me off. Wondering if I went wrong somewhere in the vetting process.

In a bit of a bind. As a preface- this is my first LTR since I’ve been rp. What I originally thought would be a plate, I found myself stumbling into an LTR where I’ve made my attempt to vet for. 24(M) 22(F) who’s maybe a hb6-7 on a good day. Sex on demand, very submissive, been out of a relationship for 3 years, parents still together, in school working toward her career, willing to sign a prenup and the works. It’s clear that she needs me more than I need her and tbh its sort of nice to get the attention for once. So whats the issue?

My problem is that she’s extremely codependent. She requires all of my attention and complains when she doesn’t get it. For reference- just last night at 2am she called me and wants to hear my voice so I could comfort her to sleep but she knew I was on-call for work so I told her that this was unacceptable and left me on radio silence for the night. I can almost guarantee I’ll get a nude during the day as I continue to punish her for hanging up. She also complains when I have made no attempts to post pictures on social media (been titrating my usage minus keeping it for social proof), and essentially fired a barrage of “love bombs” at me backing me into a wall by asking how much I love and miss her yet suspects I’m cheating. I’m beginning to be repulsed. She is aware that I’m a fairly busy guy with work, school, chasing my purpose and knows my non negotiable is the gym or when I’m out with my circle of friends. My purpose is my mental point of origin and not her.

So I suppose my question is, are there anyone on this sub who’s had/have experienced a codependent LTR? Do the pros really outweigh the con? Or am I simply mistaken her codependency for someone who’s crazy as fuck? Thanks gentlemen. cheers
