So I've been cold approaching girls recently and I got a girls number but she didn't text me back. I know I probably fucked up a shit test or something but its weird because in person she was laughing at literally everyone one of my jokes and I felt a good vibe. Anyway Im thinking because she was only 18 (I'm 21 and she was out of school) and I approached her on the train it might be because I was a little creepy. I'm also from Australia and I feel like the cold approach isn't as strong here as it might be in other places in the world.

Anyway Im thinking maybe there might be less creepy ways to cold approach like at uni when it starts up but is approaching on the train creepy?

Should I ask for their snapchat instead so its more like casual?

and less like stereotypical pickup? where else can I go to approach girls ( I know you can do it wherever but like specifically)

I feel like by cold approaching at 21 it shows that I have no other options of females (which I don't Tinder is mostly garbage and I don't go to nightclubs because I have no one to go with.
