I get a lot of comments when driving like "you sure like to get close to the other cars/curb/bushes," "watch out for that guy swerving lanes," "don't speed too much here" I think part of this is general anxiety from her and some is just inherent shit-test bitchiness but I'm really getting tired of ways to respond.

Sometimes I try and cockily laugh things off, like "yup, I get nice and close, but never hit one yet" or agree/amplify like, "that other car is sure a menace, let me catch up to them and we can ask them to pay better attention" or just goofy stuff like "your request has been noted, madam" or sometimes sinceere "I am sorry you are feeling anxiety, but I am driving just fine, have always been defensive driver and have never had an accident."

It's getting really fucking annoying and I sometimes get to the point where I just want to pull over and tell her if she can't shut the fuck up that she should just drive.

I'm not sure where to go from here. Honestly maybe I just need to stop playing around and be honest and direct and tell her to stop that behavior because it really bothers me. I'm pretty new to this way of thinking (been lurking trp about a month) and I'm trying to ease it into the relationship so I can crawl out of being the chump.

Any thoughts about good ways to handle the situation? thanks
