I'm going to disagree with the majority of comments here. This situation doesn't warrant irreversible action, such as demoting her or nexting her, YET.

She MIGHT have deleted it and tried to hide it because she was concerned that an inappropriate message would manifest this very fear of impropriety in you. I wouldn't let a self fulfilling prophecy like this destroy the LTR yet.

Would be extra vigilant for any other sign of cheating or potential cheating. If there is even one other suspicious sign, then next.

Always trust intuition. I hate that 'but I love you' shit. In all my experience, it's always meant 'I just don't want to feel bad'. Don't want to admit they're suspicious.

The thing to remember is when women cheat the signs you will uncover will only be the tip of the iceberg.

If she's getting msgs from a dude, deleting them and hiding her phone, she has already cheated on you emotionally, if not physically too.

I would say you should enjoy your holiday. Act like you don't know. Then as soon you back home, as others have said break up with her or tell her you think you two should just be friends + demote her to plate.
