I've been seeing this girl for a few months. She lives 3000 miles away from me, but she visits once a month or so. I think she's amazing. I'd like to get into a relationship with her, if not today, then someday.

I haven't agreed to be exclusive with this girl. I don't know if she's fucking other dudes, but I assume so. I'm developing real feelings for her, and as I fall in love, it hurts to think she's fucking other guys.

Where does this "hurt" come from? Is it insecurity that eventually she'll fuck Chad, and that I'll lose her? Is it just some irrational biological BS that I can't control?

I don't have a good sense for how emotionally invested she is in me. She says she loves me. I'm sure she loves me when she's around me. But I don't know if she wants a LDR. I could probably manipulate her into asking me for a LDR, but I'm not sure it's a good idea.

Everyone says LDRs are horrible and basically never work.

Should I just keep her as a plate, and maybe turn it into a relationship someday when logistics are better?

I feel really bad about her fucking other dudes. Do I just need to suck it up?

The entire situation is frustrating for me. I wouldn't be surprised if she's thinking the same thing I am – "I'm falling in love and it hurts to think he's fucking other girls." We might both be happy to give up "fucking other people" for each other, but because neither person wants to seem more emotionally invested and risk "losing the game," we're stuck in this suboptimal situation.
