No idea about how to go, but here's something. Always assume you are dealing with AWALT. Not necessarily a cheating lying whore of a AWALT, but she is a woman. Her imperatives and goals differ from yours and conveying some impressions fit them well.
You're also giving the impression you might have idealized her, it'd be a shame if she was actually LTR material and you came to resent her because she didn't match your own idealizations.

I'm not sure exactly what you're wanting to know. "How do I go about this?" The same as any other girl. If you're having success with fucking before you met this one, continue doing what you're doing. "What are some issues I might run into when escalating?" It might not fit?

Just do you. She's what, 19 years old? She's not great LTR material I can tell you that. She's dumb as fuck. Don't get sucked into playing things safe because you don't want to "mess this one up". Own your manhood. Her loss if she doesn't want to fuck you.

It's not worth the effort; trust me. Girls that are "hard to get" are usually starfish. If she is really into you she will be really into you. In my experience they hold off sex because they know they aren't good at it.

If she is a virgin, you need to figure out why. If she simply has reached that level of commitment/relationship, then you need to build that comfort and trust. However, if the answer is religious leanings, I would recommend bailing. No unicorns or snowflakes.

we're going out of town this weekend and staying the night somewhere together. she's obviously interested and a man and woman in the same room don't play chess overnight.

Assuming that she is DTF is not a good assumption to make just because she's agreed to spend the night.

My general rule is to never go on a trip with a woman unless we've already been fucking because if sex isn't involved I might as well be going with one of my guy friends.

I dunno... it's probably just me but a girl saying, "I love seeing guys not get what they want" means this chick is all about validation. Turning down guys is the most power she feels during her life. I'd tread carefully and reevaluate if its worth it to continue, brother.
