You deal with them the same way you would if they were anyone else.

You should:

Maintain frame. Never let them catch you slipping.
Depending on your personality and appearance, you can pull the 'Tom Cruise' serious response (for the more intimidating alpha) or you can counter it immediately with a joke that shuts them down, ala 'Cocky and Funny'.
Whatever you do, don't shout or get into it with them. Treat them like a child that has gotten a little out of line.

The same way you deal with every other idiot out there: You don't. What these people crave more than anything is attention, so they don't have to feel as miserable, compared to guys like you who make an effort to improve. Don't bother with talking to them or being anywhere near them.

Look at her straight in the eye for a short moment, then look away, make some form of a "pff" sound and shake your head in a dismissive way.

1 chick comments 'Get a fuckin life' , one beta male comments ' how do you get away with this'

Take nothing seriously. Assume everything is a joke.

Consider the jackass movies. What's funnier, when the victim of a prank takes it seriously and gets his jimmies rustled? Or when they laugh along with the situation and don't take it seriously?

The reason the air horn at a golf course prank is so funny is because the golfers get so pissed off. The ones that ignored it or laughed along with it didn't make the edit.

Same concept here. They throw shit at you to see how you react. If you ignore it or take the absurdity of it and make it yours, you diffuse the situation.

on facebook? delete comment. if necessary unfriend them, and if you're not friends with them, block them.

they're acting like 8-year olds. this should give you a hint about the amount of self-awareness and self-control they have. just smile at them and agree while doing whatever it is you have set out for yourself to do.
