Summary: Day gamed a girl, tried to number close and might have tripped over myself in the process resulting in no number.

Body: So basically i go to this cafe on campus to get in some study time for an up coming test. I walk in and sit across from this HB8 as i sit down i make a couple witty comments about her getting free coffee, then get back to studying. As shes getting ready to leave a little later i ask if her last name is x (she looks like someone i know or at least a sibling thereof). Turns out i don't know her, thats ok so i ask what shes studying blah blah poking fun at her for her major and choices of classes blah blah making her laugh couple IOI's. So at this point i need to get back to my work so i tell her that i gotta get back to work but she should give me her number and we can meet up sometime when i'm not busy. She pauses and looks at me with an awkward smile, i can tell the hamster is totally spinning itself. So (and this is where i think i fucked up**) i say, don't tell me you have a boyfriend? She reluctantly says yes and says its a grey area to be getting mens #'s and hanging out with them. I'm like ok cool no big deal (abundance mentality - not worried) so she tells me she's got something happening in like 10 minutes, I wish her a good rest of the day, then i resume work.

So, i sort of feel like i provided the hamster food when i said "wait don't tell me you have a bf" as she agreed to it... not sure though? I could tell that when the hamster was spinning its wheel that she did INDEED want to give me her number as that was what the hamstering was all about. Did i lose frame by not pursuing further when she agreed to having a bf? I think once she agreed to the bf i subconciously nexted her.. Just trying to better my understanding of TRP and applying it to real world applications is all. Thanks
