Do pheromones work?

This is a pretty vague question. Your body naturally produces pheromones, yes. They do serve a purpose. Pheromones are the reason your girlfriend smells good even if she isn't wearing perfume and hasn't showered yet, and the reason girls like to steal your t-shirts to wear them and smell them. Same reason some dudes will literally buy used panties on the internet. Healthy people of the opposite sex smell good.

Interesting fact, the more different your immune system genetics are from a particular girl's genetics, the better you will both smell to each other. They studied this by taking two equal sized groups (one of girls and one of guys) and having them all deliberately wear just one of their own shirts while they slept for several nights in a row without washing it, and then sealing the shirt in a container to keep in their scent. They had the guys and girls blindly smell the shirts of the opposite sex and rank them from stinky to smells great. Everyone chose the person who's immune system had the most variances from their own based on DNA testing.

This is one of the reasons why we're such a strong and genetically diverse species and mainly why we have such widespread immunity to diseases. We pick people to breed with who have immune systems that compliment our own to help our offspring fight off diseases.

Unfortunately perfume, cologne, soap, shampoo are drastically altering this natural match making. In fact pheromones are the reason why perfume and cologne are even a thing. It's almost exactly the same principle as a hunter rubbing himself with scent before hunting. At least people don't smell like ass anymore. :)

Edit: If your question isn't about your own natural pheromones but using male pheromone products to smell good, then yes it works.

I mentioned the study paired off men to women. That's because first and foremost the pheromones of the opposite sex smell better than that of the same sex. It's the reason the guys locker room smells like balls and feet, but a girls bedroom makes your heart pound.

The better a person's hormones are balanced (eat right, lift) the better they smell to the opposite sex. The more testosterone you have, and the more male you are, the better you'll smell to women in general.

Pheromone products just skip a step.

Yeah I use pheromone bodywash by dove and a pheromone cologne. The cologne smells like aftershave menthol its shit smell wise. women say they LOVE the smell and are all over me hands wise. Idk if it boosts your confidence or the smell fucks with their brains but the shit works no joke.

Who cares? Whatever. I mean, yeah you can use pheromones and shit like that, but do you really think that can compensate for not being alpha? No. Do you think brad Pitt uses pheromones? Just focus on becoming awesome. There are no short cuts in life and there are no substitutes for hard work.
