Women are attracted to confidence. You demonstrated confidence.

Forget about brains and math, here's the essence of this story:

I got bored. I knew I had to escalate...

Intelligence isn't good or bad in this interaction. Intelligence is irrelevant. You used some game on her and she responded. Good job, man.

Not intelligence alone, no.

Intelligence alone, too, by itself is not a turn off.

See, you gotta hit the other attraction switches first. Bit fit, confident, dress well, tease her, flirt, don't chase, be fun and funny (but not a clown) have social proof, etc.

With all that, intelligence adds value to all that. A chick will love that you are smart on top of all of that.

But intelligence alone isn't gonna get her to bone you.

In your case, I would be wary of her using you for homework help.

If she gets in touch with you for help again, get her out after (or better, before), and if she refuses, be done with her. She's using you.

If she'll see you outside of math tutoring, escalate the shit out of that, get her alone, etc. Go for it.

No, they're not attracted to intelligence. They're attracted to dominance.

If you use your intelligence to go design an app that everyone uses, or win a lot of money and prestige in a chess tournament, then yeah that's dominance and lots of women would find that type of thing attractive.

If you're the type of guy who sits at home reading Wikipedia and pipes up with "emmm, actually, the origin of that phrase was" and herp-derp shit like that, that won't be considered attractive.

If you can't do anything with your intelligence, it is the same as being dumb. You can say that you have high IQ, high GPA, high class rank, that you go to an elite college, etc. But if that doesn't translate into tangible accomplishments (good job, wealth, leadership roles, respect of peers, useful skills, etc), then the "intelligent" person is no different from a retard. People are more attracted to what you can do with your intelligence rather than the concept of intelligence itself.

There are many different types of intelligence, and some are worth more than others. But still appearance is still a requirement.

No. only if they are already physically attracted to you will the intelligence mean anything - it is only a secondary 'plus' and not anything more.

Nobody likes a smarty-pants. Women don't appreciate intelligence on it's own, and only some men do. But if you can translate those smarts into something practical, then you have a win. Things like witty banter, a rewarding career, helping others achieve their goals while attaining your own. All of those require brains, and will make you stand out to both men and women.

It wasn't your intelligence she was attracted to, it was your not caring if she had a bf, and powering through to the # close. (Remember that when going for your next level close.)

Very few women are turned on solely by intelligence. Often times it's a force multiplier when they are already attracted, my ex was like that, but almost never just for its own sake.

no question: intelligence is a resource to be exploited & enjoyed and now you took all the hard work out of it by doing it for her.

By itself it's not "enough" to be attractive but it adds up. Gambling ring? Mayor? President? Drug-manufacturer? Good with money-laundering or a banker (almost the same thing today)? You got intellect, you got influence with or without other resources but it's leverage that multiplies the power of other resources (guns, money, people under your command, yield from land, etc.).

So ya, intelligence is attractive but if it's all you got - you better be real damn smart.

SO in this case I think you leveraged a small advantage in intellect with a needed component of intent & dismissing the boyfriend as no-value in your actions, not words, and that's great, and I think without the intellect you could also do it but it would be harder. She needs a reason and hopefully this worked.

The trick now is: you can't be a resource to be exploited. If she doesn't actually have real attraction, if you don't keep showing intent & escalating, you're just a resource.

Men like that charge money for their services. Keep that in mind.
