Here’s the twist: the cashier can say “I intermediate transactions for a multi-billion dollar transnational corporation.”

That sounds a hell of a lot better than “I ask ‘Coke for the drink?’ four hundred times a day and the answer is always yes.”

It’s all about how you choose to represent yourself. An ethical hacker sounds lame as fuck, try putting a bit of excitement into your job title. Tell them you’re a hacker for a government or private agency. Say you deal with criminals. Share stories about some of the arrests you’ve lead to or the celebrities whose files you’ve recovered.

If there’s an element of truth to it, then great. If you’re talking out of your ass, people will either call you out on your shit or they’ll eat it up like a McFlurry.

I wouldn’t be so sure. I fucked more girls at 23 making 40k than at 26 making 140k. I have less time for shit and girls got less hot.

I'm a union electrician. I usually say I make lightning, or something to that effect.

I worry that between my pay, and benefits, between the killer insurance and pensions, that I come off as beta bux material to these bitches. Single mothers are the absolute worst it seems.

If you say you're perfoming "security tests on computer systems" and if necessary explain that you "identify vulnerabilities and help to remove security flaws" it's something completely different in the minds of people than when you say you're an ethical hacker.

Just doesn't sound so cool, right?

Your a hardcore beta male asking us whether his job label is cool enough to be to be permitted to have sex with women.

It's not your job it's your subconscious relationship to your job and willingness to let it definitely you.

Yes and no.

If you thoroughly enjoy your job and it does what YOU need it to do then you're absolutely fine.

There is no 'alpha' career. There is no 'beta' career.

If you take pride in mopping floors and you just absolutely fucking love pouring bleach all over the school to clean it up then fuck it, that's your decision.

The 'alpha' way is to do what YOU as an individual want to do.

If you enjoy ethical hacking then go for it man.

I will say that jobs that put you in high-risk situations can pique a certain girls interest more than an IT job though.

Nothing to a significant amount though.

If you're confident in your life decisions then it doesn't matter if your hobby is the study of clocks with a career in Janitorial, if the confidence is there it's shown.
