The idea of sex transmutation is first written about (to my knowledge) in Napoleon Hill's book "Think and Grow Rich". I know loosely of various ayurvedic & chinese views on the subject, but I have not researched those thoroughly. If anyone has, and recommends any specific sources, I'd love to know.

The basic idea: Transmute / channel your natural sexual impulse (to have sex/reproduce, release, etc.) desire into creative impulse / productive work. Use your sex energy as creative energy. It seems an unspoken rule to abstain from sex while one attempts this process of sex transmutation.

The entire subject was vaguely outlined, without any practical guidance.

I am asking TRP community if anyone has attempted to apply this idea to their reality, and if so, what experiences have resulted?
