This is a shit post for not mentioning the situation better.
How long were you together? Is she integrated in your social circle? Does she spend the night at your place all the time?
I never fade an LTR. I've faded plates for bad behavior. LTRs deserve a break up unless they cheated on you or lied about something major.
Easy breakup conversation: invite her over and just tell her: "This relationship is no longer heading in the direction I thought it would. I don't feel it's in my best interests anymore."

Fading isn't a horrible move but if she's more nuts than average, she may start stalking you.
2 months is not an LTR, that's the beginning of a LTR. In the future, maybe delay exclusivity until the girl displays interest in you like you expect.

I just want some dudes here to realize that LTR isn't a bad place to be, but don't LTR someone who hasn't really earned it.
If you upgrade a woman to LTR too quickly, it's just a symptom of one's thirst and lack of knowing they have an abundance of women to choose from. TRP allows any guy to get to a place where they see dateable women everywhere, but the man is the prize because of the oversupply of dateable women.

There's a lot of reasons why the relationship failure might be your fault. I've succumbed to similar mistakes in the past -- becoming too available to the supposed unicorn, dropping all pretense of having other shit to get done that's more important than her, hanging on her texts and responses, listening to what she wants to do versus what you'd rather be doing, etc.
My current LTR and my past 6 or so have all been fantastic LTRs but I knew they needed me to stay the man they had met at first, rather than become some pseudo-unicorn BB.

Why fade her? Seems unnecessarily rude. Just tell her you want to break up and that you just simply aren't feeling her like that. No other explanation needed.
Now if you want to be the good guy and go the extra mile, explain to her that she doesn't seem too interest in who you are and yada yada then tell her you aren't interested in trying to fix it then bounce.
But at the end of the day, whatever...

I don't know about the TRP community, but as a decent human being I'd say you owe her a direct conversation when ending it. Based on your description of the relationship below she doesn't deserve ghosting. Yeah maybe she's a bit selfish and not into you the way you'd like, but I'm not reading that she cheated or exhibited any other major bitch behavior.
Not to mention that if you do just ghost her there could be negativity being spouted about you that you don't need if she decides to share what a dick you are to anyone that will listen. Women already are already bad enough about shit talking their ex's when they didn't initiate the break up, no need to give her even more motivation to do so.
