I'm a college freshman, and while I've had some success this semester, I can't help but feel discouraged and like it's not even worth it.

I've branched out, I'm in 3 organizations on campus, one of those being a fraternity, but despite that social network, I have not been able to match my initial success. And tbh the vapid nature of most college girls, and as trp says, all girls, as overly obsessed with themselves and validation, is off-putting. I've tried tinder, but no matches, I guess my profile needs revamping, but I would rather not put all that power and initiative in the hands of the female anyway.

Cold approaching is looked down upon on your own campus as well; I've only done it three times anyway, with only one success, so I am at a loss for what to do. MGTOW seems appealing at the moment, or at the very least, full attention on self-improvement for a while. And yes, I have been lifting and running. I'm just feeling like I should give up. The success I had a month ago seems insignificant now, and it feels like I took 3 steps forward, and yet find myself in no better a place as I was in before.

I realize that nothing was ever gained in life without perseverance through the toughest of times, but with girls its different. It's not all up to me.

I'm just looking for guidance and advice as to how I can move forward from here.
