I'm your age but I only make 1/10 of that money plus I don't really have anything apart from my car.

I change jobs often and try to reinvent myself all the time. Gonna go into coding, start learning then I'm gonna be a physio, start learning. Constantly searching for a new mountain to climb.

For me, I already know that getting rich and corpo career isn't the answer hence I don't give a shit about materialistic stuff and this will never be my goal.

I feel like I have done too much reading on Awakening from Anthony De Mello to Allan Watts. All these desires that used to make me hungry for big money are gone now.

I think the bottom line is. Don't take life to seriously, try loads of loads of things in life and remember that you and me are just tiny little flukes in this universe. No one knows what they are doing, we are all just pretenders.

I think you need to accept what you have in life and be grateful for it. As in, there will always be more money to make, women to fuck, etc. but truly being grateful for the things in your life (friends, family, health, the ability to travel, time alone, etc.) are things we forget that actually fill the void that comes with the day-to-day pursuit of gratification.

You don’t need more or to be more. You just need to enjoy the life you have and explore new interests and challenges (hobbies and skills) to keep life spontaneous and exciting.

May i ask you what you do as a career? I love hearing about careers with great earning potential.

But as others have said, find something you’re passionate about. Hell if i had enough money I’d do bodybuilding as that’s what I’m passionate about. Income might not directly buy you happiness, but it’ll give you the freedom to pursue whatever makes you happy. Find out what that is bro

We're hard wired to breed. You not having children could be causing the unease. Becoming a family man is about the only thing you haven't achieved yet.

Not suggesting that you try to fix it by getting a girl knocked up. Whatever we achieve in this world has cost us something else.

If you have any niblings, make a (post lockdown) fuss of them. You get to play parent for a while and best of all, you get to give them back.

I think a big part of self fulfillment is knowing that you helped people and made a positive impact on the world. TRP emphasizes living for only yourself, but it’s really rewarding helping others as well. Bonus if you’re passionate about what you do.
