I'm 17 and have been working for about 2 years now and I have enough saved up for a fairly nice car(for someone my age), but I don't know what to look for.

I live in the middle of no where so driving to town where one of my jobs are as well as the nearest stores is a minimum 50 mile round trip, on pretty bad//curvy roads, so while gas is not my biggest concern, it has to get decent mileage, as well as be able to make it down the steep/curvy roads in the winter.

The normal for out here is lifted jeeps/pickups with big tires, but I want something "cooler" that isn't so common. I have been looking at a few nice mustangs in my price range, but my only worry is if we have a bad winter, it could end up just parked for anywhere from a few days to a few months. If I was in the city I'd probably just buy the mustang right now, but I also don't want to kill my self trying to get to work. At the same time, it seems weird to buy a car that I worked for and not even buy one that I really like, just because there is a small chance that I couldn't use it for a little bit in the winter. I don't know a lot about cars, so I am open to any advice.
