Lately, every little conflict I seem to have seems to involve my overthinking whether I lost frame, whether I held frame, and around all these - was this even a test of my frame?
So I have this telephone interview, and to take this call I schedule a study room. Study rooms are pretty tightly knit, and they're generally supposed to be a quiet area. If one person talks, anyone can hear them. This girl in the next room knocks on my door and says ( in a rather annoyed manner ) that she's trying to take her LSATs and she can't focus because I'm interviewing too loud. I'm not BEING loud, but the place is quiet. I figure hey, she probably can't take her test anywhere else, I can move since I only need my phone and laptop, not a desk.
I say "I'm sorry, I can find another spot." And I proceed to move.
Now it's over, II'm back in my room. She's still taking the test.
Is this a challenge on my frame? I left because well it's a test, and I WAS able to find a better place. I WAS being relatively loud in a generally quiet zone, so I agreed I was in the wrong on that. (I think, opinions welcome).
Anything wrong with what I did or said?
is this actually a frame worth holding in this case? I figure I was being reasonable since I did get here later than her as well.
