I tend to get very very anxious for some reason if a girl shows discomfort towards escalation. I use the "two steps forward, one step back" technique shown in the sidebar but sometimes I just end up freaking out and it messes the whole night.
E.g. I was once gaming this girl from my school and managed to pull her back to her house. We started making out and I felt her boob. She immediately pulled away and said she wasn't comfortable with that, I said OK and I made an excuse to leave. Ghosted her and was so paranoid that for the next week or so I thought she'd say I sexually assaulted her or something.
Another instance is when I was with a girl and some of our friends. Built up some kino, we have a bit of small talk and I tease her on how short she is and ruffled her hair . She ends up recoiling, I put the brakes on it but then I still ended up feeling that paranoia / intense fear that I did something wrong. I know I shouldn't... Does it just go away with experience?
