Sounds like you've lost this battle. The only way to have won would have been to be directly confrontive, esp with your male friends in this group and demonstrate how she was a crazy chick. Guys typically respond well to straight talk unless they're super beta brainwashed soy boys.

This is classic gaslighting by a narcissist(her) and simping by a beta(him). It happened to my friend. We still "sneak" out our friendship by meeting up at restaurants, bars, etc. This has been going on for like 20 years. My friend didn't throw me under the bus like yours did but his woman deemed me a threat(because I conceal carry and she's anti-gun). So basically your friend is in the woman's mindset/frame. She got him locked in and eliminated his possibilities of getting any other pussy. She is now his sole source for pussy. She can make him do whatever she wants.

One time I was telling my friend all about my wild excursions all over the world fucking hot whores, learning new languages, going back to school for a master's, starting a pot farm, etc. For a moment he stepped out of her frame and seriously pondered divorce. He was unable to unplug and resorted back to blue pill. When my dad died I had to go back to where my friend lives and we had a blast, without his wife, eating top tier sushi and catching up. He was also a pillar of support when I needed it.
